Sapporo TV Tower

This 147.2m-tall radio tower is located in Odori Park 1-chome. From the observation platform located at a height of 90m, the 360 degree view encompasses not only Odori Park but also the Okurayama Ski Jump Stadium, all of Sapporo City, the Ishikari Plain, and the Japan Sea. Restaurants and souvenir shops are also available.

Former Hokkaido Government Office

This brick building constructed in the American Neo-Baroque style dates back to 1888 and is popularly known as Akarenga, or red bricks. The interior, which hosts the Sakhalin Museum and the Prefectural Archives, is open to the public.
